Moon Ray - Comanchero - Il Discotto 1984

Although this is some of the cheesiest Italo, it always melts my heart... and that video, whoa!

as good as it gets! stoic bros, dancing ladies, ring of fire, and atari backdrops... nice pick.

yes typography is pretty cool, but tacos are much better.

My overwhelming memory of this track is playing it at a free party circa 1990 and dropping the needle on it as the sun rose over the sea on a beach in Cornwall with 300-400 people singing the chorus (including my then girlfriend who thought it was saying "go man chair go"!)....now I have a new memory....a permed hair eighties Italo-model engaging in a freaky-deaky squaw dancing ritual while a look-a-like Village People tribute act "strike a pose" in the background accompanied by atari 2-D racing horses....cheese indeed, but the kind of melted cheese that would bring a smile even to Cthulhu's many faces ;)

An inspired choice Lovefingers (as always)

I forgot to say, while I was watching the video, my eyes caught an early eighties Italo favourite of mine, "Plastic Doll" by Angie B and as Lovefingers so kindly gave us the Moon Ray video, I thought I would return the favour
